The White House confirmed that the U.S. has gathered intelligence indicating that Iran is preparing to launch a large-scale missile strike, potentially surpassing the magnitude of an attack earlier in April.

In response, Israel has elevated its military readiness and is actively preparing for both offensive and defensive operations, with the support of its U.S. partners, particularly U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

The risk now is not only of a direct confrontation between Israel and Iran but a wider regional escalation.

The U.S. has deployed an aircraft carrier to the region, aiming to deter Iranian retaliation, however, the coordinated actions from Western nations regarding evacuation of diplomatic personnel and hibernation type orders for countries such as  France, Germany, and the UK, indicates diplomatic solutions have failed and an attack is imminent.

The Israel Defence Forces have taken substantial steps to brace for the anticipated Iranian missile assault with Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari confirming that Israel is in a state of high alert and is prepared to respond to any Iranian attack with both defensive measures and pre-emptive strikes

The IDF has also begun evacuating key military installations, including three airbases and Mossad headquarters, we also see tanker aircraft loitering in the skies, possibly for the aircraft that maybe required to shoot down incoming missiles.

The White House and Israel have made it clear that an Iranian missile strike on Israel would trigger severe repercussions for Iran and thus the response is likely to result in a broader regional escalation involving multiple actors.
