#Iraqi resistance groups launched a missile towards a military target in #Haifa late last night. This event follows the successful drone attack on Tel Aviv by #Yemeni forces.
The missile launch marks the eleventh reported use of the Al-Arqab type missile this year by the Iraqi Islamic Resistance.
The Al-Arqab is a subsonic cruise missile, powered by a turbojet engine, and launched using a rocket booster. It is similar to the Iranian Paveh and the Houthi Quds missiles.
Following the success of the Yemeni attack, we anticipate an increase in attacks by Iraqi resistance factions in the coming days.
While their launches have mostly been unsuccessful so far, their renewed vigor, regular cooperation, and intelligence sharing with the #Houthis, along with continued technical support from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, might enhance their capability to strike Israel more effectively.
