Yemeni Drone hits its target

Yemeni Forces claim the drone attack on Tel Aviv

An explosive Drone struck a building near a US Embassy branch office in Tel Aviv in the early hours of Friday 19th leaving at least one person dead and injuring eight others.

The blast occurred in a central district home to several diplomatic missions, about 100 meters from the US Embassy compound.

At 0800 this morning, Yemeni Forces claimed responsibility for the attack, with General Yahya Sare stating in a video release:

"With the help of God Almighty, a qualitative military operation was carried out that targeted one of the important targets in the occupied Jaffa region (so-called Israeli Tel Aviv).

We declare the occupied Jaffa area an unsafe area and will be a primary target within the range of our weapons. We will focus on targeting the Zionist enemy’s internal front and reaching the depths. We confirm that we have a bank of targets in occupied Palestine, including sensitive military and security targets, and we will proceed, with the help of God Almighty, to strike sensitive military and security targets in response to the enemy’s massacres and daily crimes in Gaza.

The operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to support the heroic mujahideen in Gaza who are defending our Arab and Islamic nation with all its peoples and countries, and that its operations will not stop unless the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted."

The mayor of Tel Aviv has called for a maximum alert and it’s expected there will be more such attempted strikes to follow, this, due to the increasing capability of Yemeni forces, having been bolstered by a large stockpile of Iranian weapons and enhanced technical expertise and Intelligence provided by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

We have also seen further strengthening of their operational and logistical capabilities with Iraqi militia factions providing support under the Iraqi Islamic Resistance Banner, as noted in the photos of the aftermath of this attack in Tel Aviv, the drone is almost identical to drones used by the Iraqi factions to attack Israel, though until today almost all of the drones failed to reach their targets.
